- Hatha Yoga Pradipika: Connecting the chief text of physical yoga to the yoga of today
- Anatomy of the Subtle Body: How our life energy is structured and the way yoga leverages its evolution
- Yoga History: Getting to know the characters, events and philosophies of yoga’s 5000-year history
- Philosophy of Tantra: Understanding the gods, myths and symbols of India’s most embodied philosophy

The 200-hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training consists of 8 Chakra inspired modules over 28 days, with 3 days off. Each day will start off with daily practice of morning Sadhana ~ this is a powerful way to start your day off by setting your intention and getting your Shakti moving through the body. After Sadhana, there will be a silent break with light nourishment, and the day will then flow into active classes and lectures covering topics Kundalini yoga, meditation & pranayama, yoga philosophy, teaching methodology, anatomy and physiology, nutrition and practicum.
Naya Academy’s 200-Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training is an opportunity to deeply immerse yourself in the ancient science of Kundalini Yoga, offering you a variety of techniques, tools and ways of being that will continuously allow you to keep raising your own vibrations, positively effecting both you and the world around you. In this space of expanded awareness and gratitude you become a lighthouse, you show the way as a teacher and become a shining example of our vast potentials for creativity, kindness and empowerment .
Set in Bali, one of the most beautiful islands on this planet, you will not only enrich your life through the teachings and yogic lifestyle, but also nourish your body, heart and soul with the healing energy of this magical island. This teacher training will also cultivate confidence, challenge insecurities, transform your ability to feel connected to yourself and others… and certainly shake things up!
This commitment requires courage! You should come ready to work, to practice, to meet yourself, explore new gifts and transform. All the while in a nurturing, healing and supportive environment.
At the end of each day, there will be reading homework and journaling.
Sample Daily Schedule
The schedule will vary day to day. The basic schedule looks like this:
6.30am – 8:00am: Morning Sadhana
8.00am – 8:30am: Silent Break with light nourishment
8:30 – 10:30am: Active yoga class focusing on Techniques, Training & Practice, such as Kriyas, Asana, Meditation, Drishti, Meditation, Pranayama and Mantra
10:30 – 12:00pm: Vegetarian Brunch & Free Time
12:00 – 2:00pm: A lecture focusing on Yoga Philosophy / Anatomy and Physiology / Yogic Diet such as The Bhagavad Gita decoded, Yoga Sutras, Kundalini Yogic lifestyle, specific foods for the Chakras, diet and nutrition, understanding karma, etc.
2:00 – 3:30pm: Free Time
3:30 – 4:30pm: Teaching Methodology such as principles of demonstration, observation, assisting and correcting, the use of language and voice, finding your inner voice, invoking the divine teacher, business aspects of teaching yoga,
4:30 – 6:00pm: Practicum such as designing curriculums, time to practice teaching classes with specific themes.
6:00pm: End of day, except when…
7:00 – 8:30pm: 1 – 2 evenings per week we will hold special night events such as Kirtan, film, Gong meditation, sound medicine, meditation
Once accepted to the program, you will receive a more in-depth schedule.
On the first day, 24 July 2015, we will begin with a welcome dinner and ceremony at 6.30pm. On the rest of the days we will follow the above schedule. On the last day we will try to end earlier to facilitate travel back home.
