Vibrant Feet and Hands for Yoga and Everyday Life
The feet and hands are foundations for our body’s expression and movement.
This workshop teaches techniques for rebuilding our arches, grounding the foot’s “four corners” and opening our “toe box.” This makes our standing poses more grounded and our whole frame more healthy.
We’ll also discover subtle mechanics of the hand and teach it to imitate the weight-bearing actions of the foot.
This workshop shows dozens of new techniques for correctly using the hands and feet and how to maximize their functional and structural health for yoga and everyday life.
November 11, Thursday, 6-9pm
Yoga x 3 | History, Philosophy, Practice
In this training, we’ll do a practice of multi-dimensional moving yoga, influenced by Tai Chi, that takes the body into a fuller variety of heights and directions than the usual sun-salutation based systems, while learning the history of yoga’s abundant, time-tested practices and philosophies.
Students who finish this workshop will learn new approaches to bodily movement, yoga’s recipe for success, and how the yoga tradition evolved over 3 thousand years.
