Yogini Owl 2     Yoga: Demystifying the Transformation

Come and enjoy an afternoon of yoga practice at Adhikara yoga, followed by a visit to San Francisco’s Asian Art Museum for Yoga: The Art of Transformation.

In this unique workshop, yoga teacher and scholar, Eric Shaw, will lead participants through a 21-pose practice based on the Ocean of Life, the first illustrated yoga manual, and one of the gems featured in Yoga: The Art of Transformation. After the practice we will travel* to the Asian Art Museum with Shaw for a colorful demystification of that very manual and other artifacts in the exhibit.

This is the world’s first major art exhibition about yoga. The works displayed cover 2000 years of yogic art.
